SARA-N1

On the 23 July 2006 at 08.00am in - 2 degrees freezing weather, SARA flew the SARA-N1 rocket after two years of designing and testing. The SARA N1 is a N2O/ Polyprop fueled rocket with a length of 3.8 meters. The rocket reached an altitude of 4520m AGL before turning back to earth. SARA would like to thank our sponsors and team for the great success in this project. Plans are underway for a larger rocket to reach the 10km barrier.
